Activate your USI account

Activate your USI account to set up your password, secure your details, and access your USI VET transcript.

If a USI is created on your behalf, you will be sent a link to your nominated mobile, email or postal address from noreply@usi.gov.au asking you to activate your USI account. 

Click on the activation link to create a password and set security questions.

You will not be able to access your USI VET transcript without an activated USI account.

An education or training provider cannot activate your USI. You are responsible for the security of your USI account, including setting your password and security questions.

If you have trouble accessing your unique USI activation link (sent to you by email or SMS) follow the steps below.

  1. In the USI Student Portal visit the Activate USI page.
  2. Enter your USI or Email and Date of Birth and select ‘Next’.
  3. Follow the prompts and use your verifiable ID to activate your USI.
