Create a USI for a student
Education or training providers can create a USI on behalf of a student through the Organisation Portal or via their integrated student management system.
Before you start, you need to:
- get the student’s permission to create a USI on their behalf – this can be verbal or through your enrolment forms
- provide the student with a Privacy Notice to advise what you will be doing with their data
- ask the student to provide verifiable identification (ID).
