Providing your USI
Once higher education students have created a USI, they need to provide it to their university at enrolment. Higher education students are asked not to use the USI email option in the Student Portal, as each university has a different process to supply a USI.
USI Web services is now available
Higher Education Providers can now access the USI Registry System by integrating USI web services with Student Management Systems.
Education or training providers must submit a System Access Request Form before they are given access to USI web services. System developers can find out more about how to implement USI web services from our system developers support section.

If you’re involved in student enrolment, USI creation and verification and data reporting, you should subscribe to email updates for the latest USI eNews. We send it to subscribers and key contacts identified on training.gov.au (to make changes to these key contacts, contact your regulator).
